HOW IT STARTED
Our everyday choices are powerful. What we buy impacts our health, the environment, and even social justice. Yet, many of the everyday products we use are filled with low-quality ingredients that do more harm than good.
Growing up in rural Florida, I had limited access to clean, mindful products, and the few plastic-free options I could find online often fell short of what my hair needed. I had to choose between plastic-free or performance. So I decided, why not both?
I started experimenting using simple ingredients like vinegar and herbal rinses. Little by little, I learned how powerful simple ingredients could be, not just for my hair, but for my sense of control, confidence, and health.
From my Kitchen to REI
After three years of formulation, I launched with 7 products, that could help restore, protect, and target hair-specific concerns, from dryness and sensitivity, to oiliness and curls, while offering an accessible first step to wellness.
I started selling at local community markets, which eventually got picked up by my local REI and other retailers nationwide.
Through Sudz Cauldron, we are offering simple, intentional solutions that help you reconnect with your roots–literally, emotionally, and culturally– while being a safe space to confidently show up as yourself.
