This didn’t start with products, it started with women.

Our everyday choices are powerful. What we buy impacts our health, the environment, and even social justice. Yet, many of the everyday products we use are filled with low-quality ingredients that do more harm than good.

Sudz Cauldron was inspired by three generations of women who never had access to care. Women who were taught to hide their curls. And women like me, now in our 30s—learning that haircare is deeply connected to confidence, health, and self-trust.

Growing up in rural Florida, access to clean, mindful products was limited. For me, hair wasn’t always a space of self-care and when I began searching for better alternatives, sustainability felt out of reach. Hair wasn’t framed as self-care and the few plastic-free options I could find often fell short of what my hair needed. Sudz Cauldron exists for women who are done being told they have to choose — between sustainability and performance?

I started experimenting using simple ingredients like vinegar and herbal rinses. Little by little, I learned how powerful simple ingredients could be, not just for my hair, but for my sense of control, confidence, and health.

From my Kitchen to REI

After three years of formulation, I launched with 7 products, that could help restore, protect, and target hair-specific concerns, from dryness and sensitivity, to oiliness and curls, while offering an accessible first step to wellness.

I started selling at local community markets, which eventually got picked up by my local REI and other retailers nationwide.

Through Sudz Cauldron, we are offering simple, intentional solutions that help you reconnect with your roots–literally, emotionally, and culturally– while being a safe space to confidently show up as yourself.
