Growing up in rural Florida, access to clean, mindful products was limited. Throughout my childhood, much of what I learned came from women who carried care differently. For me, hair wasn’t always a space of self-care and when I began searching for better alternatives, the few plastic-free options I could find often fell short of what my hair needed. I had to choose between plastic-free or performance. So I decided, why not both?

I started experimenting using simple ingredients like vinegar and herbal rinses. Little by little, I learned how powerful simple ingredients could be, not just for my hair, but for my sense of control, confidence, and health.
